The Air Canada example is not convincing because it is not too big to fail. Flight operators fail all the time. They don’t operate on high margins and work in highly competitive markets. If shitty customer service doesn’t hurt Air Canada it just means people don’t care that much about it to switch to another operator. So it’s working as intended.
