I actually might be interested in your product, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me a minute to read a couple pages of your site before you bug me!

Immediate signup asks and intrusive, time-pressure offers are a huge turn-off.

Please stop doing that.

Imagine, you want to view a single post or a video on a platform you don't use.

They require you to sign up.

So having no choice, you sign up, did the thing you want, and then... delete your account.

And now, you wasted your time, and some space on the platform database, and the bandwidth, and ATPs. All for nothing.
