Solar on the roof doesn’t take up much land nor affect the view much. But that would be fine grained thinking which is too much effort.

Worst president ever and people somehow cheer him on

Anyone who has road tripped around the United States knows that it is mostly empty with vast tracts of unused land. The idea that solar is wasting valuable land is one of the stupidest ideas Trump has ever had.
But we know he is being disengenuous. Before the election he invited oil company executives and owners to Mara Lago and told them if they donated to his reelection he would make it worth their while.
"Trump pressed oil executives to give $1 billion for his campaign, people in industry say "This is a scandal" and "an indictment of the system" — but probably legal, one legal watchdog told POLITICO."
A few years ago this headline would be the title of a South Park episode...And now it's reality....

Wow, why not let the market decide? Why isn't the media demanding more explanation of why the free market is being prohibited from functioning?

This seems like it affects projects that need federal permitting? What solar/wind installations need federal permitting? Those on U.S. government land? Offshore wind? Does anyone know what percentage of solar / wind project have a federal governmental permitting requirement?

It is largely futile to try.

The benefit of "freedom of the press" are largely lost on me. What good are the media if they can't follow up on this stuff?

“The days of stupidity are over in the USA!!!” - Trump in relation to this announcement. Lol.
Wat the weird-o theory is that about?
