Zeppe-Lin 1.1 is out.

It’s a source-based GNU/Linux distro for x86-64 systems, forked from CRUX and built around the KISS principle (Keep It Simple, Stupid).

This isn’t a one-click install distro; it's a minimal system with a tarball-based installation and BSD-style initscripts. It’s aimed at users who prefer clarity over abstraction and control over convenience.

v1.1 Highlights:

* glibc rebuilt for kernel 6.1+.

* New Handbook, Codebook, and website — written from scratch.

* Mailing lists added for users/devs (@freelists.org).

* Updated toolchain: glibc 2.40.1, gcc 14.3.0, linux 6.1.58.

* X11 and firmware updates; some desktop components removed or moved to separate repos.
