I was reminiscing in a comment about the dot com era earlier - it occurs to me that this little documentary gem might have passed by some of the HN crowd at the time or (gulp) been made before they were born.

It's a pretty great perspective on what tech startup life was like back then. I'm going to re-watch it later.

If anyone is looking for other (even earlier) media on the topic you could try to dig out the book "Burn Rate" about a multimedia (think CD ROM) based startup.
