Hey HN! I built a small app for comparing companies or job offers based on "years until financial independence" instead of "total compensation", after finding out the same offer from 2 companies can have a difference of years in terms of FIRE. I also ranked companies based on the time to FIRE as well. (with some assumptions, see the methodology for more details here https://firelist.io/methodology). It was useful for me, hopefully it's useful to you! I'll be adding more benefits and companies over the next few days or so. Let me know if you have any requests.

We need companies competing to get the lowest number on this list.

Add UI feedback... entries with quicker FIRE times should look prettier. Maybe even colorize the elements along a color spectrum. The fastest FIRE time could be green or use green UI elements; have it shift to red as the time increases.

Use every dark pattern in the book to pressure companies to pump up those rookie numbers, as they say.
