Built a support app after realizing heartbreak is socially isolating

After a breakup, I noticed a gap in how people process emotional recovery. Most social support tools either assume you're in a relationship or are generic wellness platforms. But during heartbreak, what I needed most was someone to talk to who understood—especially at night, when things hit hardest.

None of my friends were going through the same thing, and I couldn’t find a space that felt timely or relevant. So I built one.

The app centers around the idea of kintsugi—the Japanese practice of repairing broken pottery with gold—as a metaphor for emotional healing. It includes features like mood tracking, journaling, and peer support. There's also a structured recovery program with personalized feedback, though that part is optional.

I’m curious whether others have noticed similar gaps in emotional tech or have approached solving emotionally complex problems through product design. Has anyone here tackled something like this?
