This is a short but effective list, many of which I do. I admit I don't see much the point of keeping a positive balance on the credit card though.

Per the tip for Track & Trace, I used to use Mint, before they got bought by the dogshite company Intuit. Then I used Magnolia for a while. Excellently made, but too expensive for me.

But now I'm really happy with my current setup: Actual Budget on a self-hosted container and SimpleFin to synchronize across all my accounts (for $1.50/month). It's wonderful to never have to log into my bank again and have a permanent backed up record of all my transactions regardless of which account it happened on.

I was shocked how much I was paying in "cheap" cloud VMs. I moved most of them over from Digital Ocean and Upcloud to a bargain basement provider (I used https://www.vpsbenchmarks.com to find one). 70% less every month.

They make fewer guarantees but have been completely reliable.
