What happens to your brain when you watch videos online at faster speeds

I find myself using the slomo more often. So often, that one can also say always.

Somehow, the sleeping pill creators are more and more professional in their doings and not so soporific anymore. The tools become more and more sophisticated, making it a click to pimp up one's thumbs & videos.

I can't watch such contemporary videos on normal speed already, not to speak of 1.5 or double fast - I don't have ADHS and am used to concentrate and pay attention. Call me slow brain.

It's not particularly enjoyable - but 1.5x playback is a good first-approximation countermeasure against creators who +50% pad their scripts with dramatic pauses and drivel.
