I was bored and frustrated with updating spreadsheets every week to keep track of my personal finances. So, I built Selfinance — a website that automatically tracks my net worth, mortgage repayment strategy, and portfolio of crypto and stocks.

I’ve saved about half an hour every week after spending some weeks building it. For me, it was totally worth it — I learned a lot, and now all the updates happen automatically.
