Gen Z's 'conscious unbossing' should be a wake-up call for businesses

In August 2023, we surveyed 1,000 U.S.-based full-time employees who identify as individual contributors about whether they want to become people managers and their ambitions inside and outside the workplace.

How seriously you choose to take these claims probably comes down to the quality of the survey and if you think it's a bit biased since they surveyed "Individual Contributor" who are by definition not on a management track. Personally I'd want to see more and larger surveys with more transparent methodology before I drew any serious conclusions.
