Ask HN: Let's say you have $0, no audience, and 90 days

What kind of micro SaaS would you build and how would you get your first 10 users?

I’m curious to hear real strategies from people who’ve done it (or are trying to). No fluff - just raw, actionable ideas.

I built Replyhub[1] in the middle of last year. At the time, I had no audience on any platform like LinkedIn or X. I’m still not great at growing an audience :)

But back then, luck was on my side. When I launched Replyhub, the timing was perfect. It was during a period of hype, and there were only one or two competitors in the space. A few newsletters featured the product, which brought in a significant amount of traffic.

I also spent some time preparing for Product Hunt, and Replyhub ended up being one of the top 10 products of the day. The next day, it was included in Product Hunt’s newsletter, which goes out to a huge audience, so I got another big spike in traffic.

By the end of it all, I had over 20 paying customers. I was thrilled cz I was only 18 at the time, and I had never made that kind of money or experienced that level of traction before. Everything exceeded my expectations.

What’s going on with replyhub today? Do you still run it?

Nothing. There is nothing of value you can build with that in today's market.

It is probably better to look for a non tech salaried job, study and stop trying to make random shit happen.

It's hard to believe, but I think this is the truth.

It is. Get real, get a honest job, stop making nonsense. Best advice you will receive.

Unless you're in the past, and you make git (for $0, no audience, 90 days). But you're no Linus Torvalds, right?
