In an era of offshoring, outsourcing, automation and now uncontrolled mass migration from incompatible cultures into the west, it is undeniable there are problems.

Arch-capitalists push for these things in order to reduce cost as much as they can without consideration for society's future or well-being. E.g. laying off American workers in order to hire H-1B workers from corrupt countries where many lie about their experience and/or forge credentials. We have all seen how everything is getting worse in multiple countries now because of corporate control of society.

I do not for a second believe that they actually will implement UBI. There will be conditions attached to it. I don't know what the conditions are imagined to be, but it won't be as simple as these breathless articles about UBI make it sound.

Meanwhile, all these arch-capitalists are building their private doomsday bunkers underground.

Why are they building bunkers underground if everything is fine?

They are stupid people who you should stop paying attention too. They buy attention with cash. And the content they generate doesn't have much intellectual or moral value.

Techbros barely have contact with normal people, are surrounded by sycophant's and opportunists, and have very narrow intelligence and knowledge. Their reality is warped. And their predictions are worthless.

Those floating in sensory deprivation tanks for years all agree an off grid bunker is the ultimate insulation from the populous power loots from behind detached and unassumed minds.

These are the controls you will pay to deal with those “other issues” for the decades to come. We are only playing upon a ground work for perpetual conflict here.

Unless you know why that is important for the consolidation of power (need ever more capable enemies in others to help fight against) yours are not the ruling class, and inheritors of the future America are of another.

What do people not selling AI actually anticipate? There are far more dystopian outcomes than positive outcomes. For example, assuming any such support comes to pass, your social credit score will likely determine what level of support you get. So being performative for the owners of the algorithm becomes your goal.
