A few points:

- That post is a bit out of date

- On .ARPA: see RFC 3172 (it redefined ARPA to its current purpose)

- On the ccTLDs, the definitive list is ISO 3166-1 Alpha 2 (see https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/#search) -- ICANN (IANA) won't delegate a 2-letter ccTLD unless the code is on that list and it's the UN Statistical Agency's job to determine whether a Alpha 2 code should be created by ISO 3166 Maintenance Agency. And, to be clear, CIRA's comment on .EH was, of course, an April Fool's joke (Morocco takes Western Sahara extremely seriously)

- The history of new gTLDs was a bit condensed, but few people care about the details.

- ICANN is well along with the next round of new gTLDs (I believe the round opens in April of next year).
