This strikes me as... weirdly misdirected, perhaps even actively counterproductive.
1. It vastly overstates their product/positioning in a way that's basically free marketing for them.
2. It distracts from much realer (but less dramatic) harms that can be blamed on the companies.
Imagine someone protesting outside Doordash, with a sign saying: "Preserve our home-cooking skills!"

TL;DR: Protesters are conducting hunger strikes outside Anthropic (San Francisco) and Google DeepMind (London) offices to demand these companies stop racing toward artificial general intelligence (AGI).
