I'm thrilled to introduce Pluely v0.1.2, my open-source alternative to Cluely, a Tauri-powered AI assistant that sits silently on your desktop. Pluely delivers real-time AI insights during meetings, coding sessions, or presentations: completely stealthy and lightweight (just ~10 MB).
What's new in v0.1.2? Automatic Screenshot Mode: Pluely analyzes images with one click on the toolbar and gives you information based on your auto screenshot custom prompt.
Manual Screenshot Mode: Hit the toolbar button to capture multiple images and type your own prompt to give you solutions, analyze, or explain code.
Expanded STT & Custom Providers: Choose built-in STT options like Whisper, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, or plug in your own custom STT provider.
More AI Providers: OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Mistral, Cohere, Perplexity are pre-configured. You can also easily add local or custom LLMs via the add custom provider interface on settings.
