Show HN: Gitmore – Automated GitHub/Bitbucket Reporting with AI

I built Gitmore because I was tired of manually checking GitHub and Bitbucket every day just to stay on top of PRs, commits, and repo activity — and to share updates with my teammates as a product manager.

The pain point:I’d lose track of pull requests, forget to follow up on commits, or spend too much time compiling repo summaries for the team. None of the tools I tried gave me a simple, automated way to get scheduled, actionable insights without digging through dashboards.

My approach:

Gitmore hooks into your GitHub & Bitbucket repos.

It generates daily/weekly reports on PRs, commits, and activity.

Reports are delivered via Slack, email, and other channels.

You can tweak the format and depth with AI agent prompts.

Why I built it:I wanted an app that felt less like a static dashboard and more like a teammate who knows what’s happening in the repos — and can adapt the output with a bit of AI help.

What’s ready today:

GitHub + Bitbucket integrations

Configurable scheduling

Experimental AI agent to generate reports

I’d love feedback from this community:

What other repo signals or metrics would you want tracked?

Would you prefer AI to summarize, or keep it raw and structured?

Thanks for reading — excited to hear your thoughts, especially from people who spend too much time monitoring repos.
