Interesting to see the conclusion; they mention that one of the few social institutions doing well are megachurches, not only seeing a growth in members, but a growth in committed (paying significant amounts) members. They attribute this to their having established thousands of small sub-groups, mountain bikers for god groups, wednesday squash games for god, etc, allowing people to spend focused time with relatively few people
