There's been little discussion about the other design element: the huge, soft rounded corners on every window.
It really impedes on the sizing in non-updated apps. They look bizarre.
I also prefer a menubar and re-added one via my desktop background, but realized why forced the translucent menubar: the rounded corners make weird empty and distracting gaps if you have a solid line like a menubar across the top.
This is such a step back, I really don't know what to praise to make a constructive feedback sandwich out of this.
