This is the relevant portion of the announcement email:

Dear Google Workspace administrator,

We’re writing to inform you of the price change that will go into effect for your Google Workspace Business Standard subscription on or after July 9, 2025. The updated subscription pricing reflects the significant added AI value, as well as the many new features we have introduced and are launching to Google Workspace editions.

I also just went through the process of toggling "Gemini for Google Workspace" off for the various product integrations (Gmail, Docs, etc.) and it required support intervention to enable this functionality. The functionality is only available by default for the higher tier Workspace accounts.
