We've spent a good chunk of time building a tool for founders navigating the fundraising maze. Our background is actually in helping startups directly with fundraising on the services side + VC background.

The feedback loop became our product roadmap. We built features directly addressing founders' pain points, essentially having the servicing side fuel the product development. This is why we focused on building core utilities often scattered across different tools.

We started with the basics – system for centralizing notes from investor interactions. No more digging through sheets, Notion pages, or message threads.

From there, we tackled more specific challenges. For instance, identifying and remembering investors who've backed competitors is a manual, time-consuming process. We built a feature to automate this, creating a "blacklist" to help founders prioritize their outreach effectively. (Right now you can manually blacklist them, but we are working on automating this process).

Beyond contact management, we integrated structured data around investor thesis – what sectors they focus on, typical check sizes, etc. We then built a system to calculate a "fit score" to quickly evaluate potential alignment based on the data points we have.

We also added tools for call analysis – processing notes or transcripts to pull out key points and automatically generate follow-up tasks. Again, the goal here is to reduce manual busywork and ensure nothing falls through the cracks during a busy raise.

We're pushing updates almost daily, reacting to what founders tell us is missing or cumbersome in their workflow. The aim is to provide a focused, efficient tool for a very specific process. Think of it as a highly specialized CRM engineered for the realities of fundraising.

If you're a founder currently fundraising, or have been through it and have thoughts on the tooling, we'd love for you to take a look. There's a free trial available. https://www.flowlie.com/
