Ha! Pretty neat. Reminds me of the bit in Foundation where a Trader turns iron into gold for a party trick since he happens to have futuristically abundant supplies of nuclear energy to waste on impressing foreign diplomats.

I always enjoy reading novels from this time period. Nuclear power was this miracle energy source that could be used to power entire planets or even tiny weapons that rendered their owners invincible. Unlimited optimism and utopias constructed from infinite technological progress.

Optimism is under-appreciated. To make the world better requires some optimism that it is possible.
