Hey HN, I'm trying to learn how to analyze static structures for a project I'm building! I'd love a good grounded introduction book for engineering statics and dynamics! As well as any intermediate books that you might recommend!

The best book I've found so far is, Engineering Statics https://open.umn.edu/opentextbooks/textbooks/engineering-statics-open-and-interactive

Bonus points if the book includes sections on simulation!

Thanks!

The first two are pretty much what you need. Comprehensive!

- Engineering Mechanics: Statics & Dynamics by Meriam and Kraige - Vector Mechanics for Engineers: Dynamics by Beer and Johnston - Engineering Mechanics: Dynamics by Meriam and Kraige - Engineering Mechanics: Dynamics by R.C. Hibbeler - Classical Dynamics of Particles and Systems by Thornton and Marion
