Not sure I understand Musk’s specific complaint, but more generally, yes Apple is anti competitive. If you own an iPhone or iPad, you probably get regular badges or notifications pushing a free trial of Apple Music or their game thing. It’s egregious. And let’s not forget the blocking of competing browsers, lack of access to the phone’s system even though it’s just a computer, the heavy handed control and rent seeking in the App Store, and more. Regulate regulate regulate.

If I had to speculate, is it anti competitive because Apple is partnering with OpenAI for their own intelligent features? So pushing ChatGPT on everyone will help to normalize the experience they’re offering through Siri or whatever, I assume?
