One could argue two different directions:

“Have we learned nothing from the ethanol-in-fuel grift?”

“The ag industry has learned well from the ethanol grift.”

Regardless, we should now collectively know that making fuel out of food is just dumb and inefficient. The question remaining is whether we are smart enough to quit giving our money to someone who is giving us an inferior product.
