The only crime here is being too clever. Ok and ITAR sanctions busting and lies to his employer, tax, fraud...

I wonder what the kloc and sla's were like. I guess the upstream now wants code review for backdoors and recovery of funds.

I'm not trying to be a smart-ass here; but ever since the pandemic the financial press has been pearl-clutching about remote workers "double-dipping". Meanwhile, there is this guy getting paid obscene amounts to be the full-time CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, X, Grok, and moonlighting with DOGE with more conflicts of interests than a fox assigned to guard a hen-house. But he gets up at 4am or something, and the financial press is OK with that. You couldn't make this shit up.
