Comparable to the Korean and Gulf wars [1]. (WWII was 60 to 70%.)

What does Hamas claim the CCR to be?

Who cares? I'm not funding their military.

Given the global nature of the oil market, you and I are probably funding Hamas just about as much as we're--individually, as taxpayers to the country paying for 15% of Israel's defence budget [1]--funding Israel.

More pointedly: I've seen it said that this war has an unusually-high civilian toll. 83% suggests it is being fought like others have historically fought wars. (That doesn't make war less abhorrent.) So I'm curious for the figure that would make this war's civilian toll unusual, even if it's also coming from a biased source.

Less confusing title would be 83% of those killed are estimated to be civilians.
