It's the same logic that drove European colonial expansion. Then the scarce resource was Land, Gold, Silver, Oil etc. Today it's Attention.
This why anyone whose success is tied to Attention Capture has to constantly produce Content all the time. There is a reason why Trump or Elon or Altman are constantly talking to the press or the plebs. Not because they give a shit about them, but because they believe Attention Capture has become fundamental to success, and they can out maneuver anyone who has captured less Attention.
They have growing armies of people (narrative maintenance depts) dedicated to this shit production pipeline internally and externally. So it's like a trap they all fall into. With no exit in sight without harming themselves.
