I built PlaylistGen because I was tired of spending more time finding music than actually working or enjoying it.

Scrolling through endless Spotify playlists, skipping half the songs, killing my flow… it was a productivity black hole.

PlaylistGen is a simple web app that creates a 15-song playlist for any mood or work context in ~20 seconds.

You choose your vibe — focus, creative, admin, or casual — and either select genres or give it 3 songs you like.

The app then builds a playlist with no duplicates, optimized for your vibe, and gives you direct links for Spotify and YouTube.
