Show HN: GenimeLabs, vector-based AI videos built for clarity, not realism
Try asking them to generate a simple origami tutorial or an animated concept explainer - you usually get something visually stunning, but semantically incoherent.
The reason: most generative video models operate at the pixel level. They're optimized to mimic reality, not to communicate ideas.
At GenimeLabs, we're exploring a different path — Programmatic Storytelling, where generative media is built using vectors and code, not just pixels. Think modular, editable, consistent objects — more like Figma components than video frames.
This approach has tradeoffs, but it unlocks something powerful: videos that are precise, structured, and reusable, better suited for explainer animations, educational content, technical walkthroughs, etc.
Still early, but we’re opening up to early users. Curious to hear what this crowd thinks — especially anyone working at the intersection of generative models, vector graphics, or technical communication.
