"FREE" does not sound as good as you might think. I'd rather pay someone for a useful product, so that I know the service will survive. I don't want to get burned by depending on a free service that hopes to monetize another way, someday, somehow. You never know what that will look like, or whether they will just shut down one day. After all with no money, there is no contract to keep running.
Free trials are cool, but a 100% free forever product raises red flags, unless open source.

Artavolo is currently free as part of our growth strategy. We're focused on building our user base and community first, and we’re able to do that because the product is already stable, production-ready, and backed by several companies.
We're not rushing into monetization, but we’re also not relying on vague future plans. Long-term sustainability is key for us — and yes, we're also exploring open source options down the road, especially for core modules or developer tooling.
We want users to feel confident in adopting Artavolo without the fear of it disappearing overnight. Transparency and support are part of the deal.
If you want a simple, spreadsheet-like interface to organize your projects, tasks, and teams — give it a try!
