I made a Chrome extension that fetches any new social media posts from p47, uses HuggingFace transformers.js with openai's Whisper to transcribe any audio or video to text and another model that uses ocr to convert any text in images to text with WebGPU on my Macbook M3, and lastly sends the transcriptions, image text, and post data to Openai via API to internet search for anything economic related and for similar historical posts that have moved the SP500 up or down in the past. Then it scores it by impact from 1 to 5 and whether historically it has been bullish or bearish. Lastly, it adds a little red badge on the tab to notify me that something happened.

Why? Because the last thing in the world I want to do is listen or read anything this guy says, however, his posts are moving the SPY 60 dollars in a day.

It also does the same with economic events checking once a minute if any new reports have been released on schedule which it gets from investing.com once a day.

I could copy everything this website does in about a day.

Is there any demand for this? I'll polish it for you to use if there is. Please let me know. Currently I'm moving to Polygon.io for data and rebuilding it with a dedicated backend writing in Python.

IPOs are probably one of the worst gambles retail investors can make. Almost all of the financials are juiced, and more often than not the stock tanks in the near term post-IPO. You can't really make an informed buying decision, best to let the dust settle.

All value has been extracted by VC before the IPO. All the IPO does is dump the stock on institutions and retail investors.

What's going on with Cerebras IPO? Someone is selling a lot of Cerebras shares on private companies marketplaces for the last few months. I have seen shares priced anywhere from $30 to $55.

SpaceX and Stripe in the list despite no intention to go public… just name checks. A bit silly

And they are at the bottom of the list with no near-term prospects which it says when you click them (it’s hard to exclude them in any discussion about big tech IPOs given the general interest in those names).
