A bit on what we're building with Billingrails:

What we're building is essentially providing everything you need to set up a custom billing system that works for your use case.

If you're a fintech that charges per transaction, you can set this up on Billingrails. If you want to offer instalment payments on an invoice, done. If you're a supermarket that wants to create a loyalty program, you can do that on Billingrails. Managing a complex enterprise contract with multi-interval charges? Done. Same for utility providers (electricity, water etc.). Whatever the business, whatever the payment setup, whatever the billing integrations needed are, we'll be there.

Whatever the sector, we're building billing components that allow people bill however they want.
