Fascinating article that sheds light on why deep state conspiracy theories exist. In short, the Pentagon, the USAF are concocting bizarre lies of UFOs of possibly extraterrestrial origins that they disperse internally sometimes in hazing like fashion. Sooner or later these "secrets" make it out the general public where they take a life of their own. Read it if you have a chance. It really explains a lot about some of our modern political discourse here in the US.
