I don't know how China is going to deal with the fact that Trump is a random number / decision maker and he goes off with policy / decisions like someone distracted by social media.
You could try to cut a deal with the guy, but who knows...

That's called "negotiating." Each side comes in with a list of demands, and then they try to find a middle ground that both parties can accept. At least that's the way grown-ups do it.
