If there was ever any doubt, Trump just proved that he has completely lost touch with reality and moved into fantasyland.
No retailer can absorb a new 30% tax (aka tariff) without eventually passing it along to consumers in some form or fashion. No amount of handwaving, denial, wishful thinking or prayer is going to make the reality of it go away.
