Hi HN, I'm a freelance developer, and like many others, I used to manage invoices through clunky spreadsheets, reused templates, and endless email threads with my accountant.

To simplify that, I built PlainInvoice.com — a minimal invoicing tool designed for freelancers and small teams. It's clean, fast, and doesn't require sign-up to start.

Some features:

Generate invoices instantly (no login needed)

Save clients, track total billed and actual received (with multi-currency support)

Upload attachments (like receipts or contracts)

Add teammates or accountants with viewer-only access

Works well for solo folks who just want to stay organized without bloat
