Available part of the article quotes unspecified 2nd hand rumors from unidentified people as the only source for this claim. As in "one person we spoke to said they heard that there were cancelations".

This is very poor journalism and nobody should consider this as any more or less true than any hypothetical they can imagine themselves. If this journalist actually tried to find more credible sources and failed it is somewhat evidence against the claim that this is happening at all, depending on how competent the journalist is.

They've also got a case of orange man bad syndrome. Jokes aside, why would they cancel? Don't they want to contribute to efforts to understand root causes?
