Echo – Conversations in the Moment
You find a video, tweet, or article you care about — and want to talk about it right now with people who get it.
Echo lets you drop a link and instantly connect and talk with others interested in the same thing.
Would you use something like this to discuss the topics you care about? Your feedback on this idea is highly appreciated!
Suppose you read an article online and want to discuss it with someone right then ,on voice, how will you do that on reddit? i feel like reddit is not designed for such real-time voice conversations.
Also, have you personally ever felt the wish to talk about something you're reading/watching with other people who're reading it too?

The problem with these ideas (in general) is that they suffer from the classic "chicken or the egg" problem. In order for them to provide value, you need to already have a critical mass of existing users but in order to entice new users, you need to already have aforementioned user base.
