I noticed more people telling me about Ruby after 3.0 and YJIT. Rails 7 also made a big difference. I’ve since made a few things and really enjoyed coming back to it! I’m still somehow 10x more effective in Ruby than anything else, for little utility scripts to web apps.
I will say that HN has always talked about Ruby a bit more than other forums. It might be that there’s more to talk about with Ruby recently, but the same people are talking. (Not an issue really!)

Seems like almost every day there is a couple of stories on the front page of HN. I Wonder if the Ruby community can tell do they see a revival to their platform, and if so, what are the reasons for the sudden comeback?
