For decades the software industry wrestled with the ideas of copyright, that a creator had some power over their creation even after sharing it.

But the AI movement seems to believe all that is a big distraction instead of the foundation of how we got to where we are.

At some point we have to reckon with the notion that AIs, if we are to accept them, will destroy the foundation of what made public sharing possible (the notion that you could have some control over your creation - your copyright)

Fascism isn't the only authoritarian game in town. Review the Left from an objective perspective and you will see what I mean.

I reviewed them and I don't see what you mean. Can you state your point clearly

You’re kidding?

One way to describe leftist ideology is forced sharing. The "forced" part is what you're looking for, that violence comes in when people refuse to share (for example one particularly sore point in parts of Eastern Europe is that socialists hunted - literally - people who attempted to be self-sufficient in nature ... including during famines).

Authoritarianism comes in when people start making the obvious point to large groups that they would, individually, do better without a leftist state. Why does authoritarianism come in at that point? Because it's absolutely, 100%, true, almost by definition.

So, explain it objectively.

Why do you call Trump fascist? Only three reasons - you are ignorant about what fascism is, you think your audience is ignorant about what fascism is, you think that authoritarian has more syllables than they are usually used to wielding. Even calling him Nazi - although blatantly wrong will be less wrong than fascist.

Trump is authoritarian probably mildly right wing if you base it on the assumption that he has some form of coherent ideology aside from "Trump is the center of the universe". He doesn't believe in white supremacy, he believes in Trump supremacy, he doesn't believe in American greatness, he believes in Trump greatness. There is not belief in him for something greater than himself - unlike Hitler, Franco, Pinochet, Il Duce, Stalin or Mao.

Don't complicate things too much. Trump's ideology is a mix between Trump uber alles and What is good for Trump is good for america.
