Show HN: QuickMarketFit – For engineers who hate marketing but need users

I have been a software engineer for more than ten years. Like most engineers I loved building things and avoided everything that looked like marketing or sales. I used to roll my eyes at marketers. Code felt clean, sales felt messy.

When I finally went solo I discovered what many of us only realize too late. Building is the easy part. Getting people to care is the hard part. Without users, even the best project is just another forgotten repo on GitHub.

What worries me is how few engineers even think about this. Many of us hide behind our screens and never learn how to reach real users. With AI moving fast, those safe jobs are at risk. To be more self-sustaining we need to build ventures and side projects. And that requires more than coding. It means proving that people actually want what we build and learning how to get it in front of them.

Since I had no clue how to do that, I built something for myself: QuickMarketFit.com . It finds places where people are already talking about the problem you are solving and gives you practical steps to reach them. Instead of guessing you can start with real discussions.

I built it because I needed it. If you are an engineer who wants to go beyond coding and start learning the market side, maybe it will help you too.

I tried it with my recent launch of https://unrav.io and the suggestions were fantastic. I tried to do similar research myself but never got the great results your platform generates. I am really impressed!
