Ah, JumpCrisscross, one of the most prolific political accounts on this site. They're, by their HN bio, supposedly some sort of successful banker/trader/investor, yet they have a 166k karma HN account where all they do, all day long, every day of the year, is post a dozen political content links to HN every day.

Here, let me roughly categorize the last 30 submissions that JumpCrisscross has posted to HN:

US politics, India/Chinese politics, France politics, NATO/Poland/Russia politics, US economy politics, Nepal politics, US economy politics, US politics, Nepal politics, a flagged SpaceX post, anti-Trump politics, US economy politics, France politics, US/China politics, anti-US politics, random social piece, a flagged OpenAI post, anti-US opinion piece, anti-Florida politics, anti-Testla politics, US politics, random Bluesky post, anti-conservative politics, a flagged Salesforce post, a random Amazon post, anti-US/Trump politics, a random Army politics post, random Tesla post, anti-Amazon post, random AI post.

So, of his last 30 submissions, 5 aren't completely political, and of those 5 that aren't extremely political, 3 are flagged. So 2 of 30 of his last posts are non-political / non-flagged. This same pattern holds for any period of time in the past.

Oh, and what about that HN guideline where it says "if the mainstream media is covering it, it's probably off-topic for HN"? 24 of his last 30 posts come directly from mainstream media.

And yet every single day there's multiple of his political links on the front page. Every single day. The account is allowed to continue spewing politics all over the site.

I did like the irony that your karma is at 1776, and are posting on this thread.

It's his right; flag it if you have a narrative.
