Over time, isolation generally does not work to anyone's economic benefit.

We've been there, seen that and done that. US consumers will pay higher prices for inferior products that can't compete in international markets.

Yeah the main effect of the Trump admin is to isolate us economically. At least temporarily.

In other words, he wants to give the competition (aka China) a hand? Instead of competition, he prefers capitulation.

This will help others but not the US.

I'd say buyers of just about any device these days has this problem, including components for ICE vehicles.
