I can totally get behind this one from earlier. Getting out of a car in an emergency should be completely obvious and work at all times.

I would go further and ban separate electronic and mechanical door releases, making them the same. the tesla model S does this -- pull the handle a bit and it releases electronically, and with a little more travel and you get a mechanical release.

I think the model Y has no mechanical release in the back seat?

Going further to outside door handles - I hope they figure a way to have flush handles.

It's similar to the US banning pop-up headlights, because they're more prone to failure than fixed headlights.
