Of course it did, in a mouse!

They refer to the mouse as a mouse model.

Created undue stress for the mouse by using a forced tail suspension test and forced swim test.

you can just imagine that poor mouse, with a multitude of electrodes coming out of its brain, to make a poxy anti-depressant for humans.

anti-depressants that are given freely to humans who suffer from a very natural case of sadness.

99% of all the clients referred to me with depression and prescribed anti-depressants, during my 25 years of practice as a psychotherapist, were suffering from sadness and didn't need any medication.

In reality a sadness that just needs to be worked through, we dont need any medication/drugs for sadness.

We have manged sadness quite well for a millennia.
