The majority in SCOTUS have been pretty consistent in that they stick their hands in their pockets in pretty much any case that might result in actually inconveniencing Trump.
Even when it is clear the activity is illegal the judicial branch has pretty much gone with "lol guess that's bad, too bad for everyone else..."
