In the mirror: In June 1870, in Tianjin, a riot broke out after rumors spread that French Catholic nuns were kidnapping and killing Chinese children. At least 20 French nationals (including the consul and several priests/nuns) and dozens of Chinese converts were killed; Boxer Rebellion (1899-1901) - Thousands of Chinese Christians and hundreds of foreign missionaries and settlers (French, German, English, American, Russian, etc.) were massacred, in a widespread anti-foreign, anti-Christian uprising that swept across northern China.

sure, the Chinese killed Western Christians because they were xenophobic and anti-Christian, and certainly not because they had just suffered an invasion war from the West. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opium_Wars

And, thank God, the Chinese soon paid the price for what they had done, as the Eight-Nation Alliance, in the name of Jesus Christ, harshly punished them https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eight-Nation_Alliance

What if we both concede? Do any of us really have good arguments to justify death and destruction?
