I got got off the phone with Verizon, and they said the issue started on Aug 28 where some phones got a network update that limits their ability to connect to the towers. He's making a ticket with the network team to bridge from the tower to our iphone to push the network software update.

I guess many phones can't connect to get the update to fix their last bad configuration.

I hope it gets resolved soon.
