I wish it would demand a cessation of the killing of innocents. I wish it could actually do something to stop the Horror that is being inflicted on Gaza rn. This has been going on far too long.

I think the only thing Hamas succeeded in doing is to expose Israel's evil acts to the world for a little while, until the west says "..., anyway" and goes back to being best buddies with Israel, singing and chanting how righteous they are.
So far the only thing that's close to a sanction from the EU is Norway divesting from some Israeli companies[0] and the EU _proposing_ (!) to suspend Israel from a research program[1].
What most people don't know is that the entire media is controlled by Israel, a few companies escaped from their monopoly and are telling the truth. Israel attacked first, Hamas is just protecting their territory. October 7th is just like 9/11, a cover up by the US/Israel to give them an excuse to attack muslims.

"just protecting their territory" does not necessitate the mass murder of civilian populace (yes, this includes Israel and all violent religious extremists who think this is acceptable), and HN is not the place to spread conspiracy theories about either 9/11 or a paramilitary invasion which recently killed over 1000 people.
